Matt joined the group in the end of 2019 after suffering from a lingering Hamstring injury. We worked to rebuild his agility, balance and coordination and strengthen his body so he could train effectively. Matt slowlat adapted to a new way of training with a new mindset. 

Matt raced in Leeds WTS and managed to finish 2nd outsprinted Javier Gomez in the last 200meters. Beconming the first American to be on a World Series Podium for over 10years.

Going on to have a rare triple win at Tongyeong World Cup, Miyazaki World Cup and Santa Domingo World Cup all a week apart. 

Matt became the USA's Number 1 ranked male athletes for the 2019 season and was ranked Number 1 USA athlete by the end of the Olympic points period. Securing Team USA a spot at the Oly pic Games. Unfortunately Matt wasn't selected for the Games but instead attended Tokyo as a reserve. This would repeat for the 2024 Games in Paris. Where Matt again was ranked the USA # 1 athlete but wasn't selected for the games. Instead being named a reserve. 

Matt then went on to compete in T100, 70.3 and non drafting events
